Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

The application is opposed by learned counsel for respondent No.3.

However, for the reasons mentioned in the application, I see no impediment in allowing the application to the extent that subject to the rules and regulations governing renewal/re-issuance, the application for renewal of the passport be considered in accordance with law. 4.

The passport which has since expired is with the CBI be handed over to the applicant for the limited purpose of 1/2

PMB 25.ia.4491-23.doc renewal/re-issue. After the passport is renewed/re-issued the renewed/re-issued passport shall be handed over to the CBI. It is made clear that the applicant shall not leave the country without further orders of this Court. 5.

The interim application is disposed of.
