1] This petition can be disposed of by granting liberty to thepetitioner to tender an application to the District Rehabilitation Officer for redressal of his grievance as regards the allotment of land as rehabilitation measure with further directions to the concerned Authority to take a decision within stipulated period. If the petitioner tenders a comprehensive application together with documents, on which he proposes to rely upon, within a period of six weeks from today, the District Rehabilitation Officer shall take appropriate decision, in accordance with law and on its own merits and communicate the same to the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of such application.
