The Petitioner is claiming rehabilitation benefit since the agricultural land belonging to him is said to have been acquired by the State Government for irrigation / irrigation project.

The petition can be disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to tender a proposal / representation to the District Rehabilitation Officer, Respondent No.4 herein, and by issuing further direction to the concerned authority to take decision on the said representation within the specified period. With the directions, as above, the writ petition is disposed of.
