The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with CR No.254/18 registered at Velapur Police Station, Dist. Solapur under Sections 384, 506 of the IPC and Sections 33 and 34 of Bombay Money Lending Act, 1946.

The FIR was lodged by one Ranjeet Vilasrao Mane Deshmukh on the ground that the applicant had givan some loan and was demanding exorbitant interest and was threatening him. 3.

On the last occasion, Mr. Aradhye, learned counsel for the applicant made a statement that the first informant had settled the matter with the applicant. On his statement, directions were issued to Nikita Gadgil

2 6-ABA 2510-18.odt the applicant to add the first informant as a party respondent and notice was issued. That was done. Today, the respondent no. 2 i.e. the first informant is represented through his advocate. He has tendered affidavit, which is taken on record. The affidavit mentions that the applicant had filed a civil suit against the first informant. The affidavit further mentions that an amicable settlement has been arrived at between the first informant and the applicant and that he had no grievance against the applicant. The first informant in that affidavit has specifically stated he had no objection, if this anticipatory bail application was allowed.

In view of this statement, custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary, though the investigation can continue. In this view of the matter, following order is passed:--

ORDER

(i) In the event of his arrest in connection with C.R. No. 254/18 registered with registered at Velapur Police Station, Dist. Solapur, the Applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Application stand disposed of accordingly.
