It is informed that the proposal tendered by the Petitioners for grant of permission to alienate the property in view of Section 36-A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 is pending for consideration with the State Government since 2016 and no order as yet has been issued.

It is further informed that the proposal tendered by the Petitioners to the Collector has been forwarded by him together with

Vishal P 2/2 10-wp-14054-2018.doc his opinion and comments to the Divisional Commissioner and the Divisional Commissioner has also transmitted the said proposal together with his comments and opinion to the State Government. 3.

In this view of the matter, these Petitions can be disposed of by issuing direction to Respondent No. 1 to take a decision on the proposals tendered and pending with the State Government as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months from today and it is accordingly directed.
