At the outset, learned APP makes a statement, that the trial has commenced and till date 5 witnesses have been examined in the present case and that the prosecution intends to examine about 7 more witnesses. Statement accepted. She, however, has no objection, if the trial of the applicant is expedited.

In view of the statement made by learned APP, the learned counsel for the applicant does not press this application, at this stage and

Since the trial has commenced and till date 5 witnesses have been examined in the present case and about 7 more witnesses are to be examined, it would be appropriate to expedite the trial of the applicant. 4.

Accordingly, the trial of the applicant is expedited. The learned Judge to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 6 months from the date of receipt of this order. The parties to co-operate in the conduct of the trial. 5.

The Application is accordingly disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
