Heard. The Petitioners pray that they be provided appropriate age relaxation so as to enable them to participate in the recruitment process for the post of Junior Associate at Respondent No.1-State Bank of India They further pray for a direction that they be imparted proper training pursuant to the Apprenticeship advertisement dated 06/07/2021 issued by the Respondent No.1.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties and after perusing the documents on record we may first note that insofar as the aspect of age relaxation while seeking appointment for the post of Junior Associate is concerned, a statement has been made in the Afodavit-in-Reply filed on behalf of Respondent No.1 1/2 16-WP-70-23.doc Rameshwar Dilwale

that the benefit of relaxation in marks as well as age would be applicable to those Apprentices who had successfully completed Apprenticeship training pursuant to the Advertisement dated 06/07/2021. The said statement made in paragraph (f) of the Afodavit-in-Reply (Page no.99 of the Writ Petition) is accepted. 3.

Insofar as the grievance with regard to the State Bank of India in not imparting appropriate training is concerned, we find that the advertisement in question was issued on 05/07/2021 and the engagement was to operate for a period of one year. After lapse of aforesaid period, the grievance with regard to imparting unsatisfactory training cannot be gone into especially since the same gives rise to a disputed aspect. 4.

According to the Respondents, a fresh advertisement seeking to recruit Junior Associates has now been issued. If the Petitioners are entitled to the benefit of age relaxation pursuant to successful completion of training, they are free to participate in the same in accordance with the advertisement. Besides observing aforesaid, we do not find that any further relief can be granted to the Petitioners.

Writ Petition is disposed of.
