By the present Petition, Petitioner has prayed that his trial of Sessions Case No. 132 of 2013 arising out of C.R. No. 24 of 2013 registered with Murbad Police Station, Thane (Rural) be expedited. It is stated that, the Petitioner is in jail since February 2013 and in the last 10 years the trial has not progressed. 2.

Learned A.P.P., on instructions from Mr.Y.B. Kadam, Police SubInspector, Murbad Police Station, submitted that, in Sessions Case No. 132 of 2013 the Trial Court has framed charge and witness summons/s have been issued.

As the Petitioner is behind bars since 10 years as an under trial prisoner, we hereby direct the Additional Sessions Judge, Kalyan, seized of 1/2

Osk 46-Wp-5556-2018.odt Sessions Case No. 132 of 2013, to expedite the hearing of the said case, to conduct it on day-to-day basis and to conclude the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the present Order. 4.

Petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.

Registrar (Judicial-II) is hereby directed to communicate present Order to the Registrar of Additional Sessions Court at Kalyan as expeditiously as possible.
