DATE : 9 JANUARY, 2024 P.C. :- This interim application is filed to bring on record the proposed legal heirs of the sole petitioner. There is delay in filing this application.

Ms. Patil, learned counsel appearing for the respondent (original landlord) does not have any objection if this interim application is allowed.

Heard and gone through the interim application. The grounds are made out to allow this interim application. 4.
Interim application is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b). Amendment to be carried out within a period of two weeks from today.

Interim application is accordingly disposed of. 6.
Learned advocate for the newly added petitioner submits that the original petitioner had deposited the rent amount till June 2018, in the Registry of the Court of the Small Causes Court, Mumbai. He further submits that thereafter the Department has not accepted the rent from the legal heirs of the original petitioner. Therefore, he seeks liberty to allow the newly added petitioners to deposit the rent amount in the Court of Small Causes.

Liberty as prayed is granted. The newly added petitioner to
3/3 deposit the entire arrears of rent from June 2018 till January 2024 within a period of two weeks from today. 8.
Henceforth, the petitioner is also directed to promptly deposit the monthly rent with the Court of Small Causes. 9.
