This is an application seeking extension of time for furnishing surety. Applicant was enlarged on bail under section 389 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 by an order dated 02/11/2018. Applicant was permitted to be released on cash bail of Rs. 15,000/- till he furnishes the surety in the like amount i.e. by 07/12/2018.

2 902.2016.18 appa.doc The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the surety has been furnished, however, it is at the stage of verification and therefore the time be extended.

In the interest of justice, time is accordingly extended till 04/01/2019.
