The applicant was granted bail by Sessions Court vide order dated 15th June 2018 in Bail Application No.1053 of 2018. Subsequently the applicant had preferred Criminal Application No.506 of 2018 before this Court seeking modification of the aforesaid order and sought reduction of surety amount. This Court by order dated 3rd October 2018 modified the order passed by the Sessions Court and applicant was directed to be released on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. It is submitted that the procedure for compliance of surety was completed, however, there was two days delay in furnishing the surety and therefore the same was not
2 of 2 502.APPLN.686.2018.doc accepted by the Trial Court. It is therefore prayed that time to furnish surety be extended by two weeks.

Taking into consideration the aforesaid factual aspects, time to furnish surety before the Trial Court is extended by two weeks from today. Criminal Application No.686 of 2018 is disposed off. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
