The application tendered by the Petitioner to the Collector seeking permission for transfer of land in favour of the non-tribal individual is stated to be pending. The application is tendered under Section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The Collector has forwarded the said application for securing prior sanction of the State Government through the Divisional Commissioner. The Divisional Commissioner has recommended the proposal of the Petitioner to the State Government and it appears that the said matter is pending with the State Government for grant of sanction. The proposal is stated to have been forwarded by the Commissioner to the State Government on 04.02.2017. 2.

In the circumstances, this Petition can be disposed of with direction to Respondent No.3 to take decision on the proposal forwarded on 04.02.2017 by the Divisional Commissioner as expeditiously as possible 1/2
