Learned counsel for the applicant seeks permission to amend the cause title of the application. Leave is granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in C.R.No.374 of 2017, registered with Halasuru Police Station, Bangalore, for the offences punishable under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code. The applicant has annexed copy of Notice issued by the Sub Inspector of Police, Halasuru Police Station, Bangalore city, wherein it is stated that a complaint has been lodged against applicant

rpa 2/2 924-aba-2573-18.doc alleging that he has cheated the complainant by promising that he will marry her. Hence, the applicant is seeking protection to enable him to approach appropriate Court seeking appropriate reliefs.

Hence, I pass the following order:

:: O R D E R ::

(i) In the event of arrest of the applicant in connection with C.R.No.374 of 2017, registered with Halasuru Police Station, Bangalore, he may be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/-, with one or more sureties in the like amount;

(ii) Applicant is granted six weeks time to approach the appropriate Court seeking appropriate reliefs;

(iii) Anticipatory Bail Application is disposed of. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.)
