Applicant was granted bail by order dated 27th September, 2018, passed by this Court in Bail Application No.1869 of 2018. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.20,000/-, with one or more sureties in the like amount. According to the applicant, in pursuant to the said order, he has executed cash security and was released on bail. Applicant had also submitted the requisite documents for furnishing surety. Since the procedure for acceptance of surety is in progress, applicant had preferred
rpa 2/2 501-appp-1548-18.doc another application before this Court for extension of cash security and by order dated 30th October, 2018, the facility of cash security was extended by a period of four weeks. It is submitted that all the formalities are being completed and the verification report of the surety is also accepted by the Registry of the Court, however, time extended by this Court in respect to facility of cash security granted by this Court vide order dated 27th September, 2018, has come to an end, and, therefore, it is requested that the order granting such facility be extended by a period of four weeks from today.
In the circumstances, I pass the following order: :: O R D E R ::
(i) The facility of cash security granted by this Court vide order dated 27th September, 2018, is further extended by a period of four weeks from today, to enable the applicant to complete the procedure with regards to furnishing the surety;
(ii) Criminal Application stands disposed of.
