This is an application for anticipatory bail. The grievance of the applicant is that presently he has been arrested in four cases of theft of vehicles and he is in custody. The applicant need not be subjected to custody continuously. It is submitted that he is being taken into custody in different CRs and therefore the prosecution be directed to give prior notice of arrest of 72 hours to him so that he can take appropriate steps for seeking reliefs. Learned APP submitted that the applicant is involved in the cases of theft of vehicles. Presently he is arrested in four cases and undergoing custody. The investigation in respect of theft complaints is going on. It is submitted that the relief as sought cannot be granted to the applicant. It is also submitted that the applicant has come directly to this Court for seeking relief.

It is noted that the applicant is in custody in four cases. It is not possible to grant any blanket direction granting protection to the
2 of 2 927.ABA.2584.2018.doc applicant directing the respondents to give notice of arrest to applicant in this application for anticipatory bail. In the circumstances the application is rejected.

In the event applicant apprehends arrest in any other case, he would be at liberty to prefer application for anticipatory bail before the concerned Sessions Court.
