By this Petition, the petitioner prays that the hearing of Case No. 429/SS/2016 pending on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 73rd Court, Vikhroli, Mumbai be expedited. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner/ original complainant has filed a case under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. He further submits that the petitioner is 76 years old. Hence, he prays that the hearing of the matter be expedited.

Heard submissions. There is no need to issue notice to the other side. In view of the prayers made in the Petition, and as the petitioner is a senior citizen, the learned Magistrate to proceed with the matter and to expedite it on or before 31st December, 2019. 5.
