By this petition, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondent to register an offence on the basis of his complaint dated 5th April, 2018.

Mrs. Pai, the learned AGP, having taken instruction, makes a statement that the complaint referred in this petition was enquired into and, thereafter, came to the conclusion that the dispute raised in the complaint is of civil nature. Accordingly, the petitioner was communicated this decision on 14th December, 2018. Statement accepted.

In the light of the above statement, present petition does not survive for the consideration. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to approach the learned Magistrate.
