Heard. It is the case of the petitioner that he was in occupation of a shop premises that came to be demolished by the respondents while undertaking a road-widening scheme. The petitioner thus seeks allotment of alternate accommodation based on Resolution No.66 dated 18/7/2014 passed by the respondent No.1. The petitioner has made representation in that regard on 10/10/2018. We find that it would be for the Municipal Corporation to consider the petitioners Jyoti Mane 1

19. WP 133-19 civ.doc entitlement to any alternate accommodation under the said Resolution. 2.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of by directing the respondent No.1 to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 10/10/2018 within a period of six weeks from today, if necessary by granting audience to the petitioner. The decision taken on the representation be communicated to the petitioner. There would be no order as to costs.
