The Petitioner herein seeks to quash Crime No.504 of 2018 registered with Nigdi Police Station, District-Pune, for the offences punishable under Section 354 of the IPC and R.C.C. No.386 of 2019 arising therefrom and pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Pimpri, Pune.

The aforesaid crime was registered pursuant to the FIR MEGHA SHREEDHAR PARAB Date: 2024.01.30 11:19:21 +0530 lodged by Respondent No.2. The facts narrated in the FIR indicate that Respondent No.2 was working as an Accountant in S.N.B.P. 1/3

International School, Moshi. The Petitioner is the Chairman of the said school. It is alleged that on 20/07/2018 the Petitioner called Respondent No.2 to his cabin and thereafter he outraged her modesty. She tendered her resignation a day later and lodged a report on 30/07/2018. On the basis of the said report the aforesaid crime came to be registered and upon completion of the investigation charge-sheet has been filed.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 state that the parties have settled the dispute amicably. Respondent No.2 has filed her affidavit giving her no objection to quash the FIR. Respondent No.2 is present before the Court. She has been identified by her Advocate. She confirms the contents of the affidavit and reiterates that she does not wish to proceed with the criminal proceedings filed against the Petitioner herein. 4.

The settlement is voluntary and genuine. In view of the no objection given by Respondent No.2, who is the victim of the crime, FIR No.504 of 2018 registered with Nigdi Police Station, District-Pune and R.C.C. No.386 of 2019 arising therefrom and 2/3

pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Pimpri, Pune, stand quashed, subject to payment of cost of Rs.2,00,000/- to be paid by the Petitioner to the Advocates Association of Western India Generation Next within a period of two weeks from today. The Petitioner is put to notice that in the event the costs are not paid within the stipulated time, the order shall stand recalled without further reference to the Court.
