By this application, the applicant has sought to direct the respondent No.1 to return the passport for the purpose of its renewal.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in past, Aarti Palkar 1/2
8.APPA.2076.18.doc similar application was allowed by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court and now also the applicant would return the passport to the CBI after its renewal. In this view of the matter, the following order.
- : O R D E R : - (i) The application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). (ii) The respondent No.1 to return the passport to the applicant for the purpose of its renewal and on getting it renewed, the Passport Authority shall dispatch the passport to the Central Bureau of Investigation, Anti Corruption Branch, having office at Plot No.35-A, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra (East), Mumbai - 400 098.
(iii) The CBI shall retain the passport until further orders. (iv) The applicant to handover a copy of this order to the Passport Authority at the time of submitting the passport for renewal. The application is disposed of accordingly.
