1. The applicant had preferred this application for anticipatory bail before this Court in connection with CR No.188 of 2017 registered with Dindoshi Police Station, Mumbai. By order dated 16th June 2017, interim protection was granted to the applicant directing in the event of arrest of applicant, the applicant be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. Interim order dated 16th June 2017 was subsequently confirmed by order dated 14th June 2018.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that due to financial constraints and status of the applicant, he is not in a position to 1/2

Vina k sr.939.appp.1587.2018.doc furnish bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- as stipulated in order dated 16th June, 2017 which was subsequently confirmed by order dated 14th June, 2018. It is appropriate that the amount of Rs.50,000/- may be reduced to Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

3. Considering the submissions, order dated 16th June 2017 which is confirmed by order dated 14th June, 2018 is modified as follows;

ORDER

(i) In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with CR No.188 of 2017 registered with Dindoshi Police Station, Mumbai, the applicant may be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The other conditions, order dated 16th June 2017 shall remain intact.

(iii) Criminal Application No.1587 of 2018 stands disposed. [PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.] 2/2
