First Information Report (for short 'FIR') bearing no.240 of 2022 registered with Bajarpeth Police Station District Thane on 21st November, 2022 for offence under Sections 323, 427, 452, 504, 506 r/w 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC') at the instance of Respondent No.2.

The complainant had alleged that she had demanded the money from the Accused. She was threatened. The accused entered into the house of complainant and caused damage to the articles in by SUNNY ANKUSHRAO THOTE Date: 2024.02.16 16:52:36 +0530 SUNNY ANKUSHRAO THOTE the house.

The parties have settled the dispute. The complainant has no objection for quashing the proceedings. The complainant is present in the Court. Affidavit dated 29th January, 2024 is filed on behalf of the complainant indicating consent for quashing FIR. In the affidavit it is stated that the dispute is settled and the complainant has no objection to grant relief prayed by the Applicants in present criminal application. The complainant has confirmed the contents of the affidavit and asserted that she has no objection for quashing the FIR.

Considering the nature of dispute and the fact that the parties have resolved the dispute, the impugned FIR can be quashed.

ORDER

i.

Criminal Application No.1648 of 2023 is allowed; ii.

First Information Report bearing no.240 of 2022 registered with Bajarpeth Police Station District Thane on 21st November, 2022 is quashed and set aside. iii.

Application stands disposed off.
