FIR No.165/1998 and consequential Criminal Case No.238/PW/1999 are still pending. Petitioner No.1(Ex-husband) and respondent No.2 (complainant) before this Court with their respective advocates jointly request to quash the same.

They pointed out that marriage between the parties is already dissolved on 2/11/2000 by judgment delivered by the Family Court at Aurangabad in Petition A-179-2000 3.

Respondent No.2 has accordingly filed affidavit in the Court on 8/1/2019. In this situation, accepting the joint request we quash above mentioned FIR and Criminal Case.
