This chamber summons has been taken out in view of the order dated 31st October, 2014 passed by this court sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation under Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act, 1956, whereby all the rights and liabilities of the plaintiff have been transferred in favour of the applicant. It is stated that the plaintiff has merged with the applicant and the plaintiff company has ceased to exist from 1st December, 2014.
