It is an admitted position that the structures in question have already been demolished. In these circumstances, nothing survives for consideration in the Petition.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent No.5 states that so far as the Petitioner Nos.1 and 2 are concerned, the cheque for rent in lieu of temporary transit accommodation has already been handed over to them. So far as the Petitioner No.3 is concerned, the learned Counsel for Respondent No.5 states that the cheque would be handed over to the Petitioner No.3 upon the Petitioner No.3 furnishing no objection certificate of other heirs. The statements are accepted.
