The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The Respondent is absent. There were disputes between the parties in regard to a Software Acquisition Agreement dated 1st July 2014 and 31st March 2016. By an order dated 24th January 2018, this Court appointed Mr Rohan Kelkar, advocate as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration and the matter then proceeded before him. 2.

When the arbitral mandate ended on 23rd January 2019, the arbitration was at the stage of cross-examination of the respondent's witness.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 30th September 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
