The grievance of the Petitioner is that the complaint as made by him with the Ombudsman-Respondent no.1 has remained undecided for period of more than 1 year. The Petitioner prays for expeditious consideration of the said complaint.

Considering the innocuous nature of prayer that has been made coupled with the fact that the Petitioner's complaint has been acknowledged on 22/09/2022, we find that the period of 1/2 17-WP-2663-2023.doc Rameshwar Dilwale

more than 1 year has since elapsed that the complaint has been pending. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Respondent no.1 to take decision on the Petitioner's complaint dated 28th September 2022 within a period of 4 weeks of receiving copy of this order.
