These are the petitions filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 whereby the petitioner has prayed for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal. The stage of the arbitral proceeding is that the final arguments are over and the proceedings are closed for the arbitral tribunal to publish an award. 2.

In the above circumstances, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is required to be extended. It is accordingly extended for a period of three months from today.
