DATE : APRIL 1, 2015 P.C. :

1.

We have heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondents.

2.

The grievance of the Petitioner is that though the Petitioner had preferred an appeal and an interim application for stay before the High Power Committee - Respondent No.2 herein, his appeal and interim application for stay were not considered by the HPC.

3.

This being the principal grievance of the Petitioner, in our view, the writ petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing Respondent No.2 to consider the appeal of the Petitioner as well as 1/2

- 2 - (WPL 62 of 2015) his application for interim relief expeditiously. The Petitioner revives his interim application for stay before the High Power Committee within two weeks and within two weeks thereafter, the High Power Committee to consider the question either to grant interim relief or not, on merits and in accordance with law. With this direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Interim order passed by this court to continue for a period of two weeks only.
