This Petition challenges notice of re-opening of assessment dated 12.10.2000 issued under section 148 of Income Tax Act, 1961.

On the last occasion i.e. on 30.01.2020 there was no representation on behalf of the Petitioner when the matter was called upon. On that date it was made clear that if there was no representation on the next date, court may consider passing appropriate order for dismissal.

Since there is none to represent the Petitioner this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. Interim order passed earlier stands vacated.
