The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The Respondent is absent. There were disputes between the parties in regard to the contract entered into by the parties. By an order dated 3rd February 2016, this Court appointed Mr K.G. Munshi, advocate as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration and the matter then proceeded before him. When the arbitral mandate ended on 30th October 2019, the arbitral proceedings were complete and what remains is to make and publish the award.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 29th February 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
