The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The parties entered into a Distribution Agreement dated 18th February 2013 which contained the Arbitration Clause at Clause 15. Disputes arose between the parties. By an order dated 17th December 2018 of this Court, Mr Swanand Ganoo, Advocate, was appointed as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter. 2.

Before the arbitrator, the matter proceeded. The original arbitral mandate has ended and the proceedings have reached the stage of passing the award.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate until 6th May 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
