The grievance of the Petitioners in this petition is as regards failure on the part of the Respondents to determine the amount of compensation for utilizing their land for construction of a road and non-payment of the amount. The facts giving rise to the present petition are not disputed. Borey 1/2

spb/ 30wp091-19-2.odt The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2, on instructions, makes a statement that the amount of compensation receivable by the Petitioners towards the utilization of their land for construction of the road by the Respondents, would be determined by private negotiation and would be paid to the petitioners within a period of five months from today. Statement accepted.
