The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The Respondent is absent. 2.

There were disputes between the parties in regard to a tender and a subsequent purchase order dated 27th April 2017. By an order dated 15th June 2018, this Court appointed a sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter and the matter proceeded before him.

The extended arbitral mandate ended on 19th December 2019. The arbitral proceedings have now reached the stage of final arguments pending the publication of award.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 19th December 2019 until 30th June 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
