---- CORAM : K.R.SHRIRAM,J DATE : 1st OCTOBER,2016 P.C.:- The petitioners seek sanction for dissolution of Gordhandas Govindram Family Charity Trust and for permission to transfer and donate the amount which is accrued in the Trust fund to Gordhandas Govindram Family Charity Trust.
On 22nd February, 2016 this court was pleased to accept the petition. The petitioners were directed to file an affidavit setting out a total amount that forms part of the Trust fund. The petitioners filed an affidavit dated 26th February, 2016 in which, from the copy of the bank statement annexed thereto, it appears that the credit balance is Rs.26,80,758.80/-. The petitioners have tendered a balance certificate issued by the Union Bank of India dated 1st October, 2016 in which it is mentioned that the credit balance as on 1st October, 2016 is Rs.26,88,484.30/-.

2/2 909.TRP-6-2015.doc On 19th August, 2016 the petitioners were directed to give notice in two newspapers, one in English language and one in vernacular language circulated in Mumbai inviting objections within three weeks of publishing the notice. The petitioners have filed an affidavit of one Nandkumar K. Seksaria affirmed on 20th September, 2016 confirming that public notice was issued in Free Press Journal (English) and Navshakti (Marathi) on 26th August, 2016. The 21 days period has expired and the counsel for the petitioners states that they have not received any objections from any party nor anyone is present in court today.
In the circumstances, the petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clauses - (a) and (b) and accordingly disposed of. (K.R.SHRIRAM,J) Gauri Gaekwad
