The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. There were disputes between the parties in regard to an agreement entered into by the parties. By an order dated 20th December 2017, this Court appointed Mr SH Jagtiani, learned advocate as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration on 22nd December 2017 and the matter then proceeded before him.

The arbitral proceedings have now reached the stage of cross examination of the claimant's witness.

Ms Mistry does not accept the grounds for delay set out in the Petition but has no opposition to the application for extension itself.

The extended arbitral mandate ended on 27th December 2019.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate with the consent of the parties until 1st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
