ORDER:

The Petitioner who is appearing in person is not present today. The Petitioner is a resident of Kolkata. The Petitioner has filed several such similar Petitions. The Petitioner has not sought leave of the Committee to appear before the Court in person.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent has placed on record an order dated 26 November 2018 of this Court in Writ Petition No.1219 of 2015, paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 whereof read as follows: "2 Learned Counsel for Respondent No.4-SEBI has produced copies of several orders passed by this Court in Writ Petition Nos.82 of 2014, 1024 of 2015, 1075 of 2015, 1189 of 2015, 1960 of 2015, 1171 of 2015 (with 1173 of 2015) and 1218 of 2015 filed earlier by the Petitioner, 1/2

k 2/2 9 wp 1211.15 os.doc which Petitions were dismissed. He pointed out that the present Writ Petition also seeks the same reliefs as sought in the aforesaid Writ Petitions. Learned Counsel for the Respondent No.4-SEBI submitted that the Petitioner is in the habit of filing Petitions notwithstanding the dismissal of his earlier Petitions for the same reliefs. We have perused the orders passed in the aforementioned Petitions. In our view, the present Petition would not be maintainable and is an abuse of process of Court. The Petition is therefore dismissed with costs quantified at Rs.10,000/- to be paid by the Petitioner to the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai within three weeks from today.

Registry to communicate this order to the Petitioner." The present Petition is one more of such Petitions filed by the Petitioner and is an abuse of process of Court. In the circumstances, the Petition is dismissed with costs quantified at Rs.10,000/- to be paid by the Petitioner to the High Court Legal Services Committee, Mumbai. Registry to communicate this order to the Petitioner.
