The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to file appropriate proceedings for challenging the order dated 14th January 2019 passed by the Appellate Authority in an appeal filed under section 35 of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971. He also seeks continuation of ad-interim relief granted on 5th June 2018.

Accordingly, we dispose of this petition as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid. All contentions on merits are kept open.

The ad-interim relief granted on 5th June 2018 will continue for a period of six weeks from today. However, the concerned authority before which the proceedings will be filed by the petitioner will decide the same without being influenced by the order of this Court of granting or of continuing ad-interim relief.
