Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Counsel for the respondents.

This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act whereby the petitioner is praying for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal which expired on 18 January 2020. It is informed that the parties are advancing final arguments before the arbitral tribunal.

Learned Counsel for the respondents has no objection for extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal. It is informed that the record is voluminous.

In the facts of the case that the record is voluminous, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended for a period of six months from 19 January 2020. Being second extension, this extension shall be final. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open.
