CORAM : A.S.OKA AND P.D.NAIK, JJ.

DATE : 20 th April 2016 PC :

1.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. Firstly we find that the petition has been filed on behalf of employees of the fourth Respondent society. It is not the case that the employees themselves are prevented from seeking redressal of their grievances. Secondly, though Writ of Mandamus is claimed, the PIL Petitioner has not approached the concerned authorities with his grievances before filing the PIL. A PIL is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. As the Petitioner has not approached the concerned authorities before seeking Writ of Mandamus, we decline to entertain this PIL. Accordingly PIL is disposed of.

2 of 2 PIL.98.2015 2.

However, disposal of this PIL will not prevent the Petitioner from making appropriate representation to the appropriate authorities, which shall be considered in accordance with law.
