The prayer in the writ petition is to grant an order of appointment on the footing that the petitioner is duly selected after conclusion of a valid selection process. 2.

We do not think that entry of the name in the select list or empanelment gives right to claim a mandamus or a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the
