The Petitioner has made application dated 7 September 2017 requesting the Deputy Collector (Enc. & Rem.), Competent Authority, Andheri-1 to decide his eligibility in respect of Annexure-II of slum rehabilitation scheme in respect of plot of land situated at CTS No.808 (pt), 817, 818 (pt) and 809 (pt), Village Ambivali, Taluka Andheri. It is the contention of the Petitioner that the said application has not been decided so far and unless it is decided, he could not be in a position to establish his right to occupy the permanent tenement. In the facts we find that the said application deserves to be decided at the earliest.

(901) wpl-159.19.doc The learned AGP on instructions of the officer from the said department makes a statement that within three months from today, the application filed by the Petitioner would be decided on its own merits. We accept the said statement.
