The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. Disputes arose between the parties under a civil contract dated 3rd August 2010 which were referred to a sole arbitrator. On 27th April 2018, this Court appointed a Sole Arbitrator to decide these disputes. She entered upon the reference to her arbitration shortly thereafter, and the matter proceeded before her.

The extended arbitral mandate ended on 26th October 2019. The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of trial. 4th March 2020

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 26th October 2019 until 31st March 2021 to complete the arbitral proceedings.
