The Petition is disposed of by passing the following order:

O R D E R

(i) The order of dismissal dated 07-02-1997 issued to the Petitioner (since deceased) is substituted as an order of discharge simplicitor.

(ii) The Respondent-Corporation is directed to pay the amount of Gratuity as per the provisions of Gratuity Act within a period of four weeks from the date of this order to the Petitioner No.1(a). Uday.P.Kambli 1/2

2/2 wp-1501-99.doc (iii) The Respondent is directed to pay an ex-gratia amount of Rs.2,25,000/- as and by way of solatium within a period of four weeks from the date of this order to the Petitioner No.1(a). (iv) It is made clear that the present Minutes will not be cited as any precedent.
