The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The Petitioner and the Respondent entered into an Equipment Lease Agreement and an Advertising Agreement, both dated 3rd February 2014. Disputes and diferences arose between the parties under the Equipment Lease Agreement. By an order dated 14th December 2018, this court appointed Mr Vishal Talsania, learned advocate of this court, as the sole arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter.

Before the arbitrator, the matter proceeded. The statutory arbitral mandate ended on 23rd January 2020.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of fnal hearing.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate till 30th August 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
