The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. The parties entered into an Agreement for supply of goods dated 16th January 2015. Disputes arose between the parties. By an order dated 24th January 2018 of this court, Ms Gulnar Mistry, learned Advocate of this court was appointed as the sole arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator entered upon the reference to her arbitration shortly thereafter.

Before the arbitrator, the matter proceeded. The original arbitral mandate ended on 23rd January 2019. The parties agreed to an extension of six months. The extended mandate ended on 23rd July 2019. By an order dated 16th July 2019 of this court, the arbitral 22nd January 2020
905-ARBP132-20.DOC mandate was further extended by a period of six months until 23rd January 2020.

The arbitral proceedings have reached the stage of final arguments.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate till 30th August 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
