Accepted. Since the only other heir consented, issuance of proclamation is dispensed with. The Petition is taken up forthwith for hearing and final disposal.

The Petitioner seeks a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 in respect of one Dr Satyanarayan Jyotilal Dasgupta, who is said to have died intestate in Mumbai, where he was an ordinarily resident, on 1st April 2015. A copy of his death certificate is annexed. During his lifetime, the deceased was resident of 18/503, Indra Darshan, Lokhandwalla Complex, Andheri (West), Mumbai 400 053.

The deceased was survived by his two sons, Sanjay and Rajesh. Sanjay is the Petitioner. Rajesh has consented. The deceased's wife Geetarani Dasgupta died on 11th April 2015. A copy of her death certificate is also annexed. The deceased's parents died before him.

It is said that the deceased worked with North East Frontier Railways at Maligaon, Guwahati. The Legal Heirship Certificate is required for the purposes of obtaining pension benefits. 5.

No other Petition for a Heirship Certificate, Succession Certificate, Probate or Letters of Administration with or without will annexed has been filed. There is no impediment to the grant of relief.

The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). There will be no order as to costs.
