The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. There were disputes between the parties in regard to a Joint Venture Agreement dated 19th September 2009. By an order dated 1st March 2018, an advocate of this court was appointed as the sole arbitrator. He entered upon the reference to his arbitration shortly thereafter and the matter proceeded before him.

The arbitral proceedings have now reached the stage of publication of final award. The extended arbitral mandate ended on 21st January 2020.

Having regard to these circumstances and with mutual consent of the parties, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 21st January 2020 until 30th June 2020 to complete the arbitral proceedings.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
