The petition is under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996.

There were disputes between the parties under an agreement dated 12th October 2015. This Court appointed a sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes. The arbitrator entered upon the reference to his arbitration and the matter then proceeded before him. When the arbitral mandate ended on 24th January 2020, the arbitration was at the stage of final arguments.

Having regard to these circumstances, I am extending the arbitral mandate from 24th January 2020 until 30th June 2020 to complete arbitration proceedings.
