Mr Kapoor tenders the supporting documents namely, corrected financials, bank statements along with a psychology report of the proposed adoptive parents. This is the adoptive parents' third adoptions. The two children previously adopted, both from India, are doing well.. The present minor has need of a hearing implant that requires urgent attention in US. One of the elder siblings had the same difficulty.

Having seen the scrutiny report presented by Mr O Hareendran, Scrutiny Officer of the Indian Council of Social Welfare and the Petition with its annexures, the Judge's Order is separately signed in respect of the Foreign Adoption of the female minor Trishala, born on 14th November 2015. It only remains to be noted that the requirement of the investment and the bond is no longer necessary in view of the decision of SC Gupte J of 17th January 2018 in Foreign Adoption Petition No. 59 of 2017 (Holy Cross Home for Babies, Petitioner vs Ravikiran Abraham Barigala & Anr, Proposed Adopters).

All authorities will act on production of an authenticated copy of this order. The birth certificate and passport are to be issued urgently, having regard to the minor's condition, and those authorities in particular will act on the basis of an authenticated copy of this order.
